A Caring Pregnancy Center hosted its Annual Fundraising Banquet on Friday, September 8th. The event featured Seth Gruber, a compelling and passionate voice for the unborn.

Working Together to Care for Women and Families

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our attendees through pledges, sponsorships, and one-time donations, we are proud to announce that we raised $262,900 during the Annual Fundraising Banquet. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed, as every single dollar makes a tangible impact on the clients we serve.

This year's Banquet was attended by over 700 guests and hosted by an incredible 38 corporate sponsors, who underwrote the event. Because of their generosity, 100% of the pledges raised will benefit our Life Services programs and Women's Clinic services. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and dedication to our cause.

The event featured pro-life activist Seth Gruber, who delivered a passionate message that focused on the culture wars and the importance of being an advocate for the unborn. Gruber's speech shed light on the critical issues surrounding abortion and its impact on society. Many supporters have commented about how they are now equipped to be “pro-life ninjas”. If you missed it or are intrigued, we are excited to announce that Seth Gruber's impactful message from the banquet is now available on our YouTube channel. We encourage you to watch and be inspired by his passionate advocacy for our mission.

Banquet gifts are still being accepted through the end of the year. All donations are tax-deductible. The pledges received will help sustain the center in the coming year. ACPC relies heavily on our fundraisers, which make up 49.2% of our annual budget.

2023: A Year in Review

Chief Executive Officer, Tamra Axworthy, recapped ACPC’s accomplishments for 2023.

This year, we achieved our largest-ever community impact, with over $28,000 given back to our clients in terms of material support, classes, and more. We also successfully completed the construction of a new garage for Ann the Van (our Mobile Medical Unit), providing “her” with a safe and secure space. Additionally, we have received the Best of Pueblo and Community Choice awards for two consecutive years. This year, we are once again in the top three for Best Nonprofit in the Best of Pueblo 2023 Awards. Those awards will be announced soon. We are grateful to all our supporters who voted for those as well as for the Community Choice Awards for which we were named winners. Finally, we rejoice in the fact that we witnessed an increased number of men participating in our programs and saw more professions of faith and rededications.

Looking Ahead to 2024

Looking towards the future, we are excited to share our vision for 2024. We aim to continue focusing on reaching women in their hour of need, providing them with compassionate support, and empowering them to make life-affirming choices. Additionally, we remain committed to serving and saving lives in Pueblo. Our goals also include expanding our range of services, such as creating safety plans for women, expanding STI testing, RH factor testing, and hemoglobin/anemia testing. Your continued support will be instrumental in helping us turn these aspirations into reality.
