This year’s Annual Fundraising Banquet was a beautiful evening of hope and celebration as we gathered together under the theme ‘To The Rescue.’ More than 600 guests registered to join us at the Pueblo Convention Center, united in their commitment to protecting life and serving women and families in our community.
A Powerful Keynote: Davey Blackburn
Our keynote speaker, Davey Blackburn, delivered a heartfelt message that deeply resonated with the audience. With vulnerability and strength, Davey shared the story of his life and the painful loss that shaped his journey. He reminded us that while pain is unavoidable, it can also be a place where God meets us, grows us, and calls us to step more fully into His purpose. Davey encouraged us to lean into our pain rather than run from it, trusting that God rescues and restores in ways that are beyond what we can imagine. His testimony brought both tears and inspiration, leaving us with a renewed sense of courage and faith.
Fundraising Success and Gratitude
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our guests through pledges, monthly, and one-time donations, we are proud to announce that we raised $279,084. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed, as every single dollar makes a tangible impact on the clients we serve.
One of those clients is Kellie. She walked into the clinic, unsure of what to do, and was surrounded by friends urging her toward abortion and offering to cover the cost. Deep down, she felt scared and conflicted, motherhood seemed just as daunting as ending the pregnancy. After speaking with an advocate and receiving helpful resources, she found the courage to open up to her family, expecting judgment but instead receiving joy and support. At her ultrasound, she brought two family members, a quiet sign that her circle of support had widened. With newfound confidence and peace, Kellie has chosen to parent, leaning on the unexpected love that now surrounds her.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible 25 corporate underwriters, who underwrote the event. Because of their generosity, 100% of the pledges raised will benefit our Life Services programs and Women's Clinic services. We encourage all of our supporters to visit and support the businesses and organizations that showcase their commitment and dedication to our mission.
Banquet gifts are still being accepted through the end of the year. All donations are tax-deductible. The pledges received will help sustain the center in the coming year. ACPC relies heavily on our fundraisers, which make up 49.2% of our annual budget.

Looking Ahead
Our CEO, Tamra Axworthy, also shared exciting updates about ACPC’s progress over the past year. Clinic hours have expanded to include Fridays, with Saturdays launching soon so that women can access care when they need it most. Two new staff members have joined our team, making it possible for our mobile medical unit, Ann the Van, to get back on the road and reach families not only in Pueblo but also in surrounding communities.
We’re also in the process of expanding medical services by adding syphilis testing for pregnant clients, launching a TikTok channel to connect with women online, and adopting a new marketing system that helps us reach more clients earlier in their decision-making process. Looking ahead, the focus remains clear: extend hours, expand mobile outreach, and strengthen marketing so that women in crisis find ACPC first.
As we reflect on this unforgettable evening, we are reminded that each of us has a role to play in answering God’s call to rescue. Together, we are making an eternal difference, and the best is yet to come. For more information, including our Center statistics, please visit our online banquet program.
Thank you for standing with us, for giving so generously, and for being part of this mission of life and love.
