BANQUET RAISES $272,000!

An astounding 900 plus attendees joined us for Pueblo's largest gala of the year! Themed “Oh! The Places They’ll Go!”, the banquet featured keynote speaker, Abby Johnson. Abby is the author of Unplanned, the account of Johnson’s transition from director of Planned Parenthood, our nation’s largest abortion provider. After fleeing the organization, she became an outspoken advocate for the pro-life movement.

The festivities kicked off with a presentation of the flags by the Knights of Columbus Color Guard. Local radio celebrity, Nick Donovan, was the amicable emcee for the evening introducing The Pueblo Children’s Chorale which featured 35 children, who delighted guests with their uplifting choruses while they enjoyed their dinner entrees. The evening also included a live on-screen ultrasound. The event featured Unplanned actress Sarah Hernandez. Hernandez was present at the "After Party" to take photos and mingle with supporters.

Executive Director, Tamra Axworthy, outlined ACPC’s vision for 2020 which introduced extended hours of operation, updating curriculums that better target the needs of patients, and offering online programming for clients. Through pledges, sponsorships, and one-time donations, supporters raised $272,363. The pledges received at the banquet will help sustain the center in the coming year.
