Your Change Can Change Lives

Baby Bottle Boomerang helps create vital awareness of A Caring Pregnancy Center (ACPC), encourages families to pray for teens, women, men, and unborn children served through the ministry, and raises needed funds to support our life-giving programs and services.

Church members are invited to take home an ACPC baby bottle or “changelope”, place it in a prominent location, fill it with spare change, cash, or even a check, and pray as a family for the precious clients served daily at A Caring Pregnancy Center.

Bottles are then returned to the church on the date designated by the church. ACPC recommends that Baby Bottles be returned 4 weeks after distribution.

We're trying a new design this year to supplement our other plastic bottle design. These flat envelopes expand into a free-standing bag for a branded version of our traditional collection containers. 

What is a "Changelope"?

Alice’s Story

Alice recounts her story about visiting ACPC 18 years ago. At 12 years old, she found out she was pregnant after visiting the school nurse. After receiving little family support, she made an appointment at ACPC and was met with much encouragement, love, and support. Afterward, she boldly went home and told her family that she would keep her baby.

18 years later, Alice told us in her life services appointment that she was happy to know ACPC continues to help scared girls like her. Today, Alice utilizes our one-on-one mentoring services, knowing that ACPC will be there for her no matter how old her child is or what she may be facing in life!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHURCHES:

  1. Contact LeighAnn at ACPC, office@acpueblo.org or 719-544-9321, to request Baby Bottle Banks and make arrangements for delivery or pick-up of the bottles.

  2. Promote Baby Bottle Banks before distribution (via church bulletin, announcements during church services.

  3. When distributing the Baby Bottles, communicate the date the bottles should be returned to the church, typically 4 weeks after distribution of the bottles.

  4. Leading up to the collection of the Baby Bottles, remind families of the return date.

  5. Once the Baby Bottles have been collected, keep the bottles intact with all the money remaining in each bottle. ACPC will take the bottles to our partnering bank, where each one will be individually counted, enabling us to provide individual donors with a tax receipt.

  6. You may either deliver the bottles to the ACPC office or call ACPC at 719-544-9321 to make arrangements for an ACPC representative to pick up the bottles from the church.

  7. ACPC will track the donations and provide a report to the church with the total amount raised from the Baby Bottles.

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS & FAMILIES:

  1. Place the Baby Bottle in your home where it will be a reminder to pray for those we serve.

  2. Place pocket change, cash and/or checks in the Baby Bottle as an offering to help mothers and their preborn babies.

  3. Please include your contact information on the tag attached to the Baby Bottle, and ACPC will send you a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

  4. Return the Baby Bottle to ACPC by the designated date.
