ACPC Banquet Raises Over $350,000
A Caring Pregnancy Center (ACPC) hosted its Annual Fundraising Banquet on Friday, September 9th. The event featured one of America’s most engaging and influential speakers, Lee Strobel, the former legal editor of The Chicago Tribune and New York Times best-selling author.
An Evening Dedicated to Elevating Life
ACPC welcomed a crowd of over 900 guests, which was a record-breaking success for our organization. This year, we also hosted a resounding 43 corporate sponsors, who underwrote the event. Because of their generosity, 100% of the funds raised will benefit our Life Services programs and Women's Clinic services.
The event featured New York Times best-selling author Lee Strobel, who delivered a message that many were eager to hear. Strobel’s message focused on the evidence and defense of the right to life. We'd like to thank Lee Strobel for headlining our Annual Fundraising Banquet. We are honored and grateful for his support of our mission and the work we are doing in our community.
Through pledges, sponsorships, and one-time donations, supporters raised $352,150.55. Banquet gifts are still being accepted through the end of the year. All donations are tax deductible. The pledges received will help sustain the center in the coming year. ACPC relies heavily on our fundraisers, which make up 49.2% of our annual budget.
2022: A Year in Review
Chief Executive Officer, Tamra Axworthy, recapped ACPC’s accomplishments for 2022. Most notably, we remodeled our 100-year old building and we achieved our largest community impact to date, with over $200,000 given back to clients in terms of material support, classes, and more.
Our growth can be seen in several areas as well, including:
Hosting our largest banquet to date (960 seats sold in 2022),
Significant growth in clients (projected increase of 30% by the end of the year),
More professions of faith and rededications than in the last 7 years,
Survey and initial preparations are now underway to build a garage for our Mobile Medical Unit.
Looking Ahead to 2023
Axworthy also outlined ACPC’s vision for 2023, which focuses on building up our online presence to reach abortion-minded women. In the future, we are going to be using Google Ads, Geo fencing, and social engagement marketing to help promote our free workshops and classes and aid our efforts to continue to reach women facing an unintended pregnancy decision.
Thank You for Making our Fundraising Event A Success
On behalf of all of us at A Caring Pregnancy Center and those we have the pleasure to serve, we want to thank you again for your generous support. We are truly grateful that you continue to stand with us in our goal to make a positive difference in the lives of women, men, and families in our community and throughout Southern Colorado.
