This June, as we celebrate Father’s Day in Pueblo, we aren't just thinking about backyard BBQs or new ties. We are thinking about the high calling of a man who realizes his life is no longer just his own. We are celebrating the men who have looked at an uncertain future and decided to embrace the Adventure of a Lifetime.

At A Caring Pregnancy Center, we believe that a man’s presence is one of the most powerful factors in the health and safety of a preborn child. When a man decides to stand by the mother of his child, he isn't just a bystander; he is the lead explorer on a journey that requires courage, dignity, and a map.

The Science of a Father’s Impact

The importance of a father’s involvement is more than just a sentiment; it is backed by growing research. Paternal support during pregnancy is directly linked to a reduction in maternal stress and significantly better developmental outcomes for the child.

We see this play out in our clinic every week. When a man is engaged, a mother feels empowered to choose life. Our approach ensures that we aren't just focusing on the medical aspect of the pregnancy, but on the man’s growth as a provider and protector. We address the "whole man"—his fears, his financial goals, and his spiritual foundation.

Equipping the Modern Father

In 2025, we saw a significant number of men in Pueblo rising to the challenge. Male clients accounted for 9.4% of our total distinct clients, representing men who chose to engage with our services rather than stay on the sidelines.

  • Relationship Mentoring: We conducted 91 relationship mentoring sessions to help couples stay unified.

  • Practical Preparation: Through our "Earn While You Learn" program and financial coaching, we help dads-to-be move from "How will I afford this?" to "I’ve got this."

Walking for the Next Generation

This Father's Day month is also the month of our 2026 Walk for Life. With a goal of $50,000, we are raising the funds necessary to keep these fatherhood resources free for every man in our city.

Every dollar raised during the Walk supports the 1,851 client visits we facilitate annually. It funds the ultrasounds that allow a father to see his preborn child for the first time—a moment that often transforms a "crisis" into a mission. It supports the 78 babies born last year who are now being raised by parents we helped equip.

To the fathers of Pueblo: your role is indispensable. Whether you are an expecting dad, a new father, or a seasoned "Legacy Mom" or Dad supporting the next generation, you are a vital part of this adventure. This June, let’s stand together to ensure every family has the tools they need to embrace the road ahead with hope.
