ACPC Summer Update and Formula Giveaways

ACPC is off to a great summer start! As you know, our services are free of charge thanks to the generosity of our donors. Well, those donations have been pouring in! Along with monetary gifts, we also received an abundance of clothing, diapers, wipes, and formula. This not only allowed us to bless our clients and stock our boutique, but we also were able to be a blessing to other community projects.
CSU-Pueblo’s Accelerated Nursing Students hosted their 11th Annual Pueblo Community Baby Shower and ACPC was able to donate diapers, wipes, clothing, shoes, and other baby items. In addition to that, we had a large quantity of infant formula that we were able to give out as well. It was so nice to see the look on those mama’s faces when they were able to see the boutique for themselves. They loved the variety of items ACPC had to offer. Many were eager to take advantage of the classes and personalized one-on-one mentoring services. Two strangers showed up at the same time; they ended up exchanging phone numbers and making plans to get their children together. What a great feeling it is knowing ACPC not only provides for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of our clients, but we also open the door for new friendships and support. A big thank you to our donors for allowing us to bless our clients and the community with these great opportunities.
